TGIF, am I right or am I right?! Yeah that's right! This week on the cover is Toronto artist Charmaine. Her catchy new song "BBM (Bad B*tch Mentality)" is first up this week, where she drops bars and dances with some bad b*tches in the music video for the single.
Next up is an artist I have recently been falling in love with! Kendra Jae, the dancer turned music artist's new single "BIG" showcases just how versatile she is. In the new music video we see her singing, dancing, and rapping while switching up her flow every now and then! I first heard her on "Seesaw" with Saweetie on Saweetie's recent project Pretty Summer Playlist: Season 1, but she had dropped music before then in 2020. She is clearly proving herself as an artist who's here for good, so be sure to do your research with this one!
Flo Milli stopped by COLORS Studios to debut "Ice Baby", her new single. In the performance she's rockin' a tight blue jumpsuit and heels in a cute pink room. She slides on the track:
"Happy Halloween/Boo, Scary ass hoe/ Looking like Cinderella lost her shoe/That lil budget won’t make me move/Im too rich to lose my cool"
Be sure to check out that video here. Switching it over to Spooky season with Ashnikko's new song "Haloweenie IV: Innards". Every year she drops a new version of "Haloweenie", and this year was just as Spooky as the last! be sure to press play on this one at your Halloween party.
DJ Snake has teamed up with Ozuna for a hit once again this time around called "SG" with Megan Thee Stallion and Lisa of BlackPink! The artists from all over the world came together to collaborate for the music video as well directed by Collin Tilley.
Slowing things now a bit now with a new track from Luna Elle called "Distant". She is another Toronto artist on my radar, and only 16 years old! Her voice sounds so mature and I know this is only the beginning of a prosperous career.
The talented Kreayshawn, best known for her hit "Gucci Gucci" has just released a new comedy rap track called "The Mom Song" which features Christina P. The song is off her new project World's Biggest Idiot. Watch the funny music video here now to see the two moms rapping in the pool and more hilarious moments.
Last on the list this week is "Strub The Ground" by Yung Miami and Quavo. They were teasing the song and music video for the past weeks, so it has been highly anticipated! The track is definitely something to twerk to and a dedication to the annual Freaknik events that took place in the 90s at Southern universities. You might be too young to remember, but that was the place to be... trust (check Youtube if you doubt me)!
Press play on the playlist now below and let me know what song is your favorite:
